Behavior Therapy
Behavior Therapy is a structured, evidence-based approach used to help children improve behaviors, develop new skills, and reduce behaviors that may interfere with learning and everyday life. One of the most recognized forms is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which focuses on understanding how behavior works and how it is affected by the environment.
How We Support Your Child
At Florida Developmental Therapy Center, we provide comprehensive behavior therapy services designed to meet the unique needs of each child. Our process includes:
- Initial Assessment:
- Personalized Treatment Plan:
- Therapy Sessions with a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):
- Team Collaboration:
We begin with a detailed behavioral assessment conducted by a licensed and experienced professional. This helps us understand your child’s strengths, challenges, and areas of need.
Based on the assessment, we develop a customized behavior intervention plan (BIP) with clearly defined goals, strategies, and measurable outcomes.
The therapy is delivered by trained Registered Behavior Technicians under the ongoing supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Sessions are engaging, supportive, and tailored to your child’s goals. The sessions can be provided at home, school, centers etc.
Our team works together following appropriate protocols and guided by licensed professionals to ensure a consistent and high-quality therapeutic approach.
